Knowing God

We've moved! New content on this topic can be found at my new site, Uncommon Grace! Check it out!

Knowing God has changed my life.  I was lost and now I'm found thanks to Jesus death on the cross to pay for my sins according to John 3:16:

"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life."

God's grace is the reason I'm here today, doing what I am doing.  He's not just a part of my life, He is my life.  I believe anybody can have this peace and purpose that I do simply by believing in Him.  I know it isn't always a popular decision, but it is a good one.

My oldest son, Ethan, made the decision to follow Christ when he was little and recently wanted to make his faith public by being baptized at our church.  I was so proud of him for his decision to ask God for forgiveness and give his life to God.

I'm absolutely not perfect and have a long way to go as a follower of Christ.  Flawed as I am, I want to do my best to communicate who He is and how He changed my life.  My writings are all born out of that desire and hopefully the lessons I've been learning are something that help you know Him more too.  He's taught me to see Him in everything as He has refined me through chronic illness.
